Everywhere you click online people are telling you how they generate passive income while doing almost nothing.
And here we are punching in and out while writing our hearts out hoping to be one of Medium’s top earners.
A great dream and it can be realistic. But writing takes time to pull in money and most of us need the extra money now.
A quick google search on ways to generate passive income will pull up ideas that seem out of reach (one of the top three results is real estate).
So wtf is passive income that actually generates income and is it something most of us can do?

Let's start with what it is for those of us who need a little refresh. Passive income is basically any additional money you earn outside of your employer or career.
In today’s world, most of us need a passive income to help with month-to-month expenses. But most of us truly can’t afford the extra time to put into a full business that may or may not take off.
So how does passive income come into play and where do you start?
