I Stuck To Writing On Medium For One Week and Here’s How My Life Changed Forever

Am I being dramatic? How can one’s life seriously change in a week because of Medium?

Clickbait or truth. I’ll save you the scroll- (hopefully you stick around).

Both.

But a heavy truth. I first joined Medium in December of 2020 and after one post titled So the Great Conjunction didn’t Fix it All Now What , I took a hiatus of sorts. Really I gave up before I even tried. Looking back, I wasn’t ready. I overthought every word of that article. I thought I needed a certain academic vernacular before publishing on medium. And to be honest, I pondered at who on this site wants to read what I publish?

I’ve always enjoyed writing and I love the emotions that fill my soul as the words encapsulate my every thought. Writing has allowed me to explore the unknown, and not just fictionally, but the emotions I suppress. Now enough with the sappy typical writers emotions- I feel you get the point by now.

In the last two years, there’s been a lot of growth, self actualizations and who are we kidding here- some extra cash flow wouldn’t hurt anybody (a tip is always accepted with a humbled smile). Yes we write for the enjoyment, but unless your well off- your best selling author dreams are not few and far between.
